Review methodology
How We Rank Operators
Our operator ranking methodology: ten evaluation dimensions covering bonuses, licensing, game selection, payout speed, and player protection - updated on a published cycle.
Every operator on the site is reviewed against the same evaluation framework. Our rankings are built from publicly verifiable information, hands-on testing with real and demo play, and direct verification against the public registers of the regulators that license each operator. The same framework applies to every operator, so players can compare operators on substance rather than on marketing claims.
Each operator's overall score is produced by a weighted model that combines quantitative bonus and fee analysis with qualitative platform testing. The ten dimensions described below are each scored on a 0-100 scale and rolled up into the final score. Default weights are uniform, but the operator-match quiz lets visitors re-weight the dimensions to match their own priorities.
The ten evaluation dimensions
Our evaluation covers ten independent dimensions. Each is scored on its own merits before being combined into the overall ranking.
1. Bonuses and wagering costs
Bonuses are the most heavily scrutinised part of any review. We compare welcome bonuses, wagering requirements, and game weighting across slots, live casino, and sportsbook, then layer in deposit fees, withdrawal fees, inactivity charges, currency conversion markups, and house edge on featured games. The goal is an all-in view of the true cost of play across typical player scenarios.
2. Licensing and safety
We verify each operator against the public registers of the regulators that license it. We check that licences are active, that player funds are segregated, and that any player protection arrangement is correctly disclosed. We also look at the operator's record of enforcement actions and whether players are protected by responsible gambling tools such as deposit limits and self-exclusion.
3. Platform and Tools
We test the operator's web platform, mobile apps, and any downloadable client. The review looks at game library navigation, live dealer stream quality, betting-slip usability, odds formatting, and the responsiveness of the interface. Two-factor authentication, session security, and login hardening are recorded here as well.
4. Game and market access
We catalogue the game providers and sports markets each operator offers, supported cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies, and the countries the operator accepts players from. Account-denomination currencies and supported payment rails are recorded so players can see exactly which markets are reachable from each operator.
5. Account Types and Onboarding
We compare minimum deposit requirements, VIP and loyalty tiers, and any region-specific account restrictions the operator applies in your jurisdiction. Onboarding is timed end-to-end, from document upload to first deposit, so players know what to expect before signing up.
6. Customer Support
We test every support channel the operator offers: live chat, phone, email, and in-app messaging. We log response times, operating hours, and the languages supported. Each interaction is scored on accuracy, helpfulness, and professionalism.
7. Education and resources
We evaluate the depth and quality of educational resources, odds and strategy guides, responsible gambling information, and in-house or third-party research available to players. Beginner pathways, glossary depth, and the clarity of explanations carry as much weight as the volume of content.
8. Deposit and withdrawal
We document funding methods, processing times, withdrawal fees, holding periods, and any limits on payment instruments. Where an operator requires withdrawals to return to the original funding source, that constraint is noted in the review.
9. Mobile experience
We evaluate the mobile app independently from the web platform: biometric login, game and betting-slip usability on small screens, push notifications, and app stability under real network conditions.
10. Transparency
Transparency captures how clearly an operator communicates its bonus terms, wagering requirements, house edge, and licensing status. Bonus terms and promotional conditions are read in full so any restrictive small print is reflected in the score.
Data collection and update cadence
Operator data is reviewed on a regular cycle. Full reviews happen at least every six months. Material regulatory changes - licence suspensions, scope changes, or enforcement notices - are reflected within one week of the regulator's public notice. Bonus terms are re-checked whenever an operator publishes a promotional change.
